Escape to the beauty of Cape San Blas, Florida & Barrier Dunes. Cape San Blas is located in the FL Panhandle, 50 miles SE of Panama City between Port St. Joe & Apalachicola, just East of Mexico Beach & West of St. George Island in NW Florida Panhandle.

We have 9 of the most well stocked vacation rentals you will find anywhere! All 8 are in Barrier Dunes :

THE CAPE ESCAPE I: 2BR/2BA. King master suite taking up the entire upper floor with private balcony, dressing area with double sinks, walk-in closet, bathroom with separate shower & garden tub. There is also a laundry room on the upper floor. The lower floor has a fully-equipped kitchen overlooking the dining area & family room, a Queen bedroom, & a full bathroom. The family room includes a cable TV, VCR & a sleeper sofa. This unit is 100 steps to the Gulf Front Pool!

THE CAPE ESCAPE II: 2BR/2.5BA. On a lake and 200 steps to the beach! On the upper level is a King & Queen bedroom, both with private bathrooms and porches. They both have Cable TV & one has a VCR & the other a DVD! 2 of the 3 decks overlook a large freshwater fishing lake--fish or feed the turtles FROM the back porch!

We also offer 3 Beach Front 3BR rentals as well as 3-2BR gulf view rentals-- all on Cape San Blas in Barrier Dunes and all pet friendly! Large dogs are very welcome!

ALL of our Barrier Dunes Condos are supplied by the owner with GREAT amenities! Owners provide: beach chairs, beach cart, boogie boards, rafts/floats, cooler, laundry detergent, spices, dishwashing detergent and MUCH MORE! Most of our rentals have highspeed DSL as well! Cape San Blas, FL is 20 miles long and a mile wide at the widest point! St. Joseph Bay is on one side & the Gulf of Mexico is on the other. Ten of the 20 miles consists of St. Joseph Peninsula State Park and there are no high rise condos. This allows for an uncrowded and unspoiled beach--plenty of room for you and your dog to enjoy the beach! Your dog is welcome on the beach with NO TIME RESTRICTIONS! Ranked the #1 beach in the USA in 2002 by Dr. Stephen Leatherman!

Barrier Dunes is a secure, gated community with 2 fantastic pools. One is located directly on the dunes with a beautiful view of the ocean & the white sand beaches of Cape Sand Blas. Barrier Dunes also has lighted tennis courts, 3 fresh water fishing ponds, playground, boardwalks throughout & several pet stations!

St. Joseph Peninsula State Park is located right next door to Barrier Dunes and offers excellent access to the bay as well as 7 miles of undeveloped, unpaved pristine wilderness area, bay access, and beach. The park also has a boat ramp!The clear water bay is one of the cleanest in Florida & provides excellent snorkeling, boating, fishing, crabbing & scalloping.
