There is no "off season" when you are this close to the ocean and the two main parts of Acadia National Park. While some things are closed outside of high season, you can still walk to the harbor, a full service, family style restaurant, the independent supermarket, post office, etc.

On the last Friday of every month, all year, there is a Coffee House event at the nearby community hall. Attend one - or other Schoodic Arts events - to find out why so many people "from away" decide to buy homes or second homes in this seaside community.
